Welcome to Grace Canine
At Grace Canine we are a one wahine team, passionate about providing quality and affordable fitness solutions for dogs. Our mission is to help pet owners enhance their dogs' health, fitness, and overall well-being with our specially sourced equipment without breaking the bank.
Our Story
The idea for Grace Canine was born out of a love for dogs and a commitment to their fitness. We recognized the need for effective indoor and at home exercise options that cater to dogs' natural instincts and energy levels. Thus, our journey began to find a product that would meet these needs and exceed expectations.
We had known of the use of slatmills in other countries, but struggled to find any overseas companies who would ship all the way to New Zealand. Similar products offered in New Zealand were simply out of our price range. We set out to find suppliers and manufacturers of quality slatmills so we could offer these great tools to more NZ dog owners.
In February 2024, we found our first slatmill supplier. We ordered our first sample and away we went! The sample arrived and exceeded all our expectations. That sample still lives in our garage and is used and abused! It has stood up to my crazy staffy, lanky (and very speedy!) pit mix, plus countless friends & family's dogs all wanting to have a go.
While working full time, owning, training and competing two dogs, and managing a social life on top of all that, we managed to launch our website in July 2024. The rest they say is history.
